RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS

Deposits constitute full knowledge and acceptance of all terms and conditions.

We recommend that you make your reservations as early as possible to guarantee the departure of your choice. After the reservation has been made, a deposit must be sent within 7 days. Your reservation with Celestial Voyagers is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. Should we be unable to obtain a reservation for you, this deposit will be fully refunded. After the reservation is processed, fees for revision, deviation, and/or cancellation apply.

PAYMENTS

Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. For reservations made less than 60 days prior to departure, full payment must be received by Celestial Voyagers within 3 business days after the date of the booking confirmation. Rates and fares are subject to change without notice prior to receipt of full payment. However, price is guaranteed upon receipt of full payment.

CANCELLATION

Deposits constitute full knowledge and acceptance of the cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made in writing. Regardless of the cause, every cancellation is subject to a penalty, the amount of which depends on the date of reception. To avoid cancellation fees, Celestial Voyagers strongly encourages you to purchase cancellation insurance. Celestial Voyagers offers trip cancellation insurance, which you may purchase at additional costs. PENALTIES

Penalties vary according to each program. Celestial Voyagers must apply the following generic rules:

60 or more days prior to departure Minimum of $100 processing fee

59 — 30 days prior to departure 25% of package price,

29 — 14 days prior to departure 50% of package price

Less than 14 days to departure 100% of package price.

Waivers and/or reduction of the penalties may be considered in case a replacement is provided and just a name change fee can be applied.

Please note that no refund can be made for any accommodation, service, or feature not taken during travel.

In exceptional cases, Celestial Voyagers might cancel a tour for lack of participants. In such an event, all payments will be fully refunded.

 

WHAT THE TOUR PRICE INCLUDES & DOES NOT INCLUDE

Each program customized by Celestial Voyagers shows the list of all provided services either on a customized flyer and / or in a proposal. These flyers and/ or proposals also indicate what the tour price doesn’t include.

The following items are not included in the tour price, even if not specifically mentioned on the flyer and/or proposal:

• Cancellation and revision fees.

• Costs incurred to obtain a valid passport, visa(s) and necessary certificates or vaccinations for any country to be visited.

• Insurance premium for the coverage of personal luggage and belongings, personal injury, accident or illness, or trip cancellation and interruption

• Personal expenses such as, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, excess baggage, and local excursions.

• Tips to tour directors, drivers, local guides, and hotel personnel.

• Options, such as single supplements, optional excursions, up-graded rooms etc.

• Expenses incurred, if you leave the tour at your own volition, regardless of the cause, or as a consequence of official action by the government of any country visited.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

• A valid passport, visa(s), and necessary certificates or vaccinations for any country to be visited are the responsibility of each client. Celestial Voyagers declines responsibility for any delay, loss, or extra expense that might result from incorrect, lost, or destroyed passports, visas, or other travel documents, nor will we give any credit or refund.

• Missed flights or tour departures as a result of late check-ins are within the liability of participants.

• Participants are responsible for choosing a trip that suits their physical and mental state of health.

• It is expected that each client respects both customs and laws of the visited countries as well as rights and privacy of other participants. Tour directors may request a participant to leave if they judge that the person’s continuing participation may prove detrimental to the individual herself or to the well being and enjoyment of other guests.

GENERAL DISCLAIMER

Celestial Voyagers makes arrangements with airlines, hotels, and other independent parties to provide you with the travel services you purchased. It is within our responsibility to make every effort to obtain the best suitable service to meet your needs. However, Celestial Voyagers acts as an agent for these independent suppliers and therefore has no direct control over them.

Because of its status as an agent, Celestial Voyagers is not responsible:

• for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of stress, injury, accident, or death
• for damage, loss, or delay of baggage or other property; or delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, or frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting from:

• The act or omission of any party other than Celestial Voyagers or its employees;

• Mechanical breakdown, government actions, weather, or other factors beyond our control;

• Your failure to follow instructions including, but not limited to, check-in and check-out times and baggage handling;

• Your cancellation or change, for any cause in travel services offered;

• Your medical or health problems or physical disabilities.

Celestial Voyagers is not responsible for providing special facilities or services to those with medical or health problems or physical disabilities.

Celestial Voyagers reserves the right to cancel or alter the travel services at its discretion. In the event of cancellation of a tour by Celestial Voyagers, we will refund all moneys paid.
