ITINERARY

Day 1 – Wednesday, December 19
Morning departure from Newark airport with American Airlines
Travel via Miami and arrive in Quito in the evening
Transfer to hotel
Dinner and accommodation in Quito

Day 2 Thursday, December 20
Breakfast
Morning city tour including a visit to “La Mitad del Mundo” and the Equatorial Monument
Dinner and return to hotel in Quito

Day 3 Friday, December 21

Transfer to airport for flight to Catamayo (Loja)
Full day visit to Vilcabamaba Valley including lunch
Dinner and accommodation in Vilcabamaba

Day 4 Saturday December 22

Overland transfer to Cuenca

  • Single supplement @ $120.00
  • Coach transfers from Harrisburg Campus to Newark airport and return.
  • Local departure tax at Ecuadorian airports

  • Gratuities to drivers and local guides
  • Cost of personal items: phone, drinks, laundry, etc.
  • Compulsory Penn State insurance:
    $ 12.00 if you are under 26
    $ 18.00 if you are 26 or older
  • Optional travel insurance covering trip cancellation for medical reasons.
  • 3.5 percent Merchant Account fee on all amounts paid by Visa, Master Card or American Express credit card.
  • Passport fees. Everyone needs a passport valid until June 24, 2008.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Celestial Voyagers terms are based on contracts with airlines, hotels and other suppliers. The terms and stipulations mentioned below are bound by these contracts and will be strictly enforced.

Deposit: $ 500.00 before September 24, 2007
of which $150.00 processing fee is non refundable.

For registrations after October 1st, full payment will be due

Final payment due November 2nd, 2007

Late fee (due to possible air fare increase):
$ 100.00 or more, applicable for trip registration and/or balance payments received after November 2007.

Cancellation penalties:
All cancellations must be received in writing.

  • $150.00 non refundable processing fee
  • 50% of total price for cancellations between November 3 and November 18, 2007
  • 100% of total price for cancellations on November 19 or later

We strongly recommend that you avail yourself of travel insurance as protection against these penalties. Please check with Celestial Voyagers for travel insurance plans and premiums.
