The price of $ 1 695.00 includes:
- Round trip flights from Philadelphia to Frankfurt and return from Berlin with AIR FRANCE
- Airport security taxes and “Q” tax for fuel surcharge at $ 250, subject to adjustment at time of ticketing
- 9 nights accommodation in twin room at youth hostel and hotels listed above
- Breakfast daily and dinners as specified
- All transportation and admission charges
- Assistance of Ms Deren during your stay
The price of $ 1 695.00 does not include:
- Single room supplement + $ 120 (no single room option available at the youth hostel)
- Cost of personal items such as phone, drinks, laundry etc.
- Meals other than specified
- Optional travel insurance
- Passport and visa fee
Everyone needs a passport valid until July 11, 2008. If you are not an American citizen, a visa may be required. Please check and arrange this well ahead of the tour departure date.
General notes:
- Students taking this trip for credit will also attend several lectures relating to the general course work
- The itinerary is subject to minor revisions.
- All transportation within Germany is by public transportation i.e. Bundesbahn, local buses or subway.
- Images are property of the respective public websites of the locations or institutions.
- Special tours can be arranged for Berlin (i.e. Potsdam) during the tour.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservation on-line:
Your deposit of $ 150 will assure your reservation with Air France, the hotels and other suppliers.
When you register online you must mail your deposit and copy of your passport within 7 days with payment for your optional travel insurance premium, if you choose this option.

Deposit $ 150 by May 30
2nd payment $ 595 by July 21
3rd payment $ 450 by September 21

Since Merchant Account service charges have not been included in the price of the trip, a 3.5 % fee applies to payments made by credit card.
VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS are all accepted.
Cancellation:
In the case of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:
- $ 150 non-refundable processing fee
- An additional $ 200 (total $ 350) goes to the airline and hotels if written cancellation is received between 01 October and 30 October 2007
- Penalty of 50% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received between 01 November and December 01 2007
- Penalty of 100% of the cost of the trip if written confirmation is received on or after December 02 2007 and in the case of no-show
- These policies will be strictly enforced. In the case of cancellation for reason of medical emergency, penalties will be covered under “ ACCESS AMERICA” travel insurance. Pre-existing conditions are covered only if insurance has been submitted with your deposit.
- Check with Celestial Voyagers for coverage and premiums, as this insurance must be purchased separately and is not included in the tour package price.
