ITINERARY:

Saturday, December 29 Departure
Depart from Baltimore and arrive in Cancun. Coach to Valladolid. Overnight at Meson del Marques.

Sunday, December 30 Merida
2 hours drive to Mérida. City tour in Mérida, a center of culture in the Yucatan region even before the Conquistadors arrived. Today it is a prosperous city of narrow streets, colonial buildings and shady parks. Visit the Archaeological Museum. Drive to Celestun to watch the Flamingos. Overnight at Residencia Hotel.

Monday, December 31 Merida
Optional excursion to Uxmal & Kabah - $75.00 The Dwarf's Pyramid, the Governor's Palace and the magnificent Nunnery Quadrangle are considered among the world's most beautiful buildings such as the Parthenon and the Taj Mahal. Continue to Kabah. Overnight at Residencia Hotel.

Tuesday, January 1 Chichen Itza
Drive to the Archaeological zone of Chichen Itza that includes the classical Maya, as well as the Maya-Toltec sectors, with such famous landmarks as the Observatory, the Ball Game Court, Kukulcán Pyramid, and also the Hall of One Thousand Columns. The sacred site was one of the greatest Mayan centers of the Yucatan peninsula Overnight at Chichen Hotel.

Wednesday, January 2 Cancun
Drive to Coba which was one of the biggest cities for Mayan Culture. Coba is formed by 5 groups of big buildings Cobá, Nohoch Mul, Chumuc Mul, Macanxoc and Uxul-benuc.

Continue to the Archaeological Zone of Tulum, the only well preserved Mayan site on the seashore, built on top of a cliff overlooking the immensity of the blue Caribbean Sea.

We visit its main pyramid, El Castillo, as well as the intriguing Temple of the Descending God. Continuation to Cancun. Overnight at Flamingo Resort.

Thursday, January 3 Cancun
Optional excursion to Xel-Ha $ 65.00. Drive to Sian Kaan and Xel-Ha considered the world´s most spectacular aquarium. You are invited to embark on an aquatic adventure. Explore creeks, lagoons natural wells and ancient caves fed by subterranean rivers flowing to Mexico´s beautiful Caribbean Sea. Overnight at Flamingo Resort.

Friday, January 4 Return
Enjoy the whole morning at the beach.
Transfer to the airport to take your Delta flight
DL#320 which leaves at 5:00pm

Deposit $250.00 by Sept. 21, 2007.
Balance due no later than October 26, 2007.

The price of $1,410.00 includes:

  • Airport tax, security fees, fuel surcharge and “Q” taxes for a total of $ 109.00 (priced in March 2007, subject to increase and adjustment).

Your deposit of $ 250.00 will assure your reservation with DELTA, the hotels
and other suppliers. It must be sent with a copy of your passport, your reservation here enclosed or made on line and the optional travel insurance premium if you choose so.

CANCELLATIONS AND PENALTIES:

These policies must strictly apply. In case of cancellation for medical reasons penalties will be covered under "ACCESS AMERICA" travel insurance. Pre-existing conditions are covered only if insurance has been submitted with your deposit. Check with Celestial voyagers for coverage and premiums.

In case of cancellation penalties will apply :

  • $250.00 processing fee is non refundable.
  • Penalty of 50% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received between October 26 and November 28, 2007
  • Penalty of 100% of the cost of the trip if written cancellation is received after Nov. 29, 2007 and in case of no-show.

PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS:

Everyone needs a passport valid until July 4, 2008. In case you are not an American citizen a visa may be required.
