ITINERARY

Day 1 Sunday, May 31     DEPARTURE
Departure from Kennedy with Iberia Airlines.

Day 2 Monday, June 1     SEVILLE
Connection in Madrid for your flight to Seville. Upon arrival in Seville, transfer to your hotel. Check-in at Hotel Don Paco for the next 7 nights. Remainder of the day free.

Day 3 Tuesday, June 2     SEVILLE
Half day walking tour with English speaking guide. Meet guide at the Cathedral at 10:00am for a 3 1/2 hour tour: see the Cathedral, the Giralda and the Alcazar.

Day 4 Wednesday, June 3     SEVILLE
Morning excursion to Cordoba from 9:00am until 2:00pm. Private coach to Cordoba. Meet guide at the Mezquita for a 1 1/2 hour tour guided tour. Free time in Cordoba after the tour before returning to Seville.

Day 5 Thursday, June 4     SEVILLE
Meet guide at the Museum of Bellas Artes at 10:00am for a 2 hour guided tour of the Museum. Remainder of the day at leisure to go and explore on your own the Barrio de Triana.

Day 6 Friday, June 5     SEVILLE
Full day excursion by train to Cadiz.

Day 7 Saturday, June 6     SEVILLE
Full day excursion with private coach to go to Arcos de la Frontera.

Day 8 Sunday, June 7     SEVILLE
Day at leisure in Seville.

Day 9 Monday, June 8      RETURN
Assistance and transfer to Seville airport for your return flight to Kennedy, via Madrid.

PRICE $2,500
The original program cost was $2,500.00 per person. Due to a generous subsidy by St. Joseph's College, Honors program students are only required to pay $1,000.00.

This price includes:

  • Roundtrip airfare from Kennedy airport to Seville, via Madrid, with Iberia Airlines.
  • Airport taxes at $95.00 based on rate of September 2008, subject to change and adjustment at time of ticketing.
  • "Q" taxes for fuel surcharge at $425.00 based on rate of September 2008, subject to change and adjustment at time of ticketing.
  • 7 nights accommodation in twin bedroom at Hotel Don Paco.
  • Hot buffet breakfast daily.
  • Transfers, sightseeing, guide services and entrance fees as per itinerary.
  • Train ticket, roundtrip Seville - Cadiz.
  • Gratuities to guides, assistants and drivers.

This price does not include:

  • Single room supplement + $ 655.00.
  • Meals (except daily breakfast).
  • Personal expenses for phone calls, beverages, laundry, etc.
  • Optional travel insurance.
  • Passport & visa fee
    Everyone needs a passport valid until December 8, 2009. If you are not an American citizen a visa may be required and a green card is compulsory.

Registration by mail:
Complete the registration form included in the brochure and mail it to Celestial Voyagers with your $ 300.00 deposit and the photocopy of your passport, if available.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Your deposit will secure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers. It must be sent with a copy of your passport, the registration form and the optional travel insurance premium if applicable.

Space may still be available after the final due date indicated, but pricing at that time will be stipulated by the airline and will depend on availability of seats when ticket is issued.

Deposit $300.00 (Non refundable, due no later November 14, 2008).
Final payment of $700.00 is due March 21, 2009.
All payments by check to be made out to Celestial Voyagers escrow account
Your deposit will assure your reservation with the airline, the hotel and other suppliers.
Your deposit must be sent with a copy of your passport, the registration and the optional travel insurance premium if you choose to purchase it.

Credit card payments:
We accept Visa and Mastercard. Since Merchant fees are not included in the price, should you wish to pay by credit card, a 3.5% supplement applies to the amount paid.

Cancellation:
All cancellations must be received in writing. In case of cancellation the following penalties will apply:

  • $150.00 non refundable processing fee.
  • Additional $150.00 for cancellation received between November 14, 2008 and March 21, 2009.
  • Penalty of 50% of the total price of the trip if written cancellation is received between March 22 and April 30, 2009.
  • Penalty of 100% of the total price of the trip if written cancellation is received on May 1, 2009 or in case of no-show.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that you avail yourself of travel insurance as protection against penalties as well as baggage damage and travel delays. Without insurance, if you cancel your trip within a few days of the departure date, the total value of the trip will not be refunded. Pre-existing medical conditions are covered only if the insurance registration has been submitted within 14 days of sending your deposit.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Airline tickets and travel documents will be delivered at the pre departure meeting held at St. Joseph's College 2 or 3 weeks prior to departure. Dr. Montoya will let you know the date and place of the meeting in due time.

If you cannot attend the meeeting nor have the documents collected, Celestial Voyagers can send them via special delivery, FEDEX or US Postal Service. Someone must be at the mailing address in order to sign for the documents when they are delivered. This service will be charged to you separately. a $20.00 mailing and handling fee will apply.
