Special Terms & Conditions for Bhutan
Independent travel is not allowed in Bhutan.
All tourists must travel on a pre-planned, pre-paid, guided package tour, or custom designed program. We trust Bhutan's tourism organization and assure you that this trip will be an extraordinary experience. We also want you to understand that Celestial Voyagers is not responsible for the quality control of the organization, but will always do the utmost to keep your interest and satisfaction in mind at all times.
The Royal Government of Bhutan wants to control tourism in order to avoid the negative impact on the local culture and environment and visa request should be processed between 90 to 120 days before travel time. The number of visitors each year is limited. All visitors must have their visa approved prior to boarding the Druk Air flight to Bhutan.
Flights between Nepal and Bhutan are subject to weather conditions. Weather conditions in the Himalayas may change quickly. Therefore, last minute adjustment to the program may be necessary.
We need to finalize all travel plans well in advance and your full payment for the Bhutan portion of the trip is therefore required by September 19, 2009
Should you choose to take the Bhutan extension, the payment plan is as follows:
Reservation and deposit as soon as possible:
http://celestialvoyagers.com/html/reservations.htm
Payment of $2500.00 is due no later than September 19, 2009 to cover deposit for Nepal and full payment for the Bhutan portion.
Balance due no later than November 6, 2009
It may not be possible to confirm additional requests for Bhutan received after Sept 19
